DESCRIPTION:
The State Literacy and Basic ¶«¾©ÈÈ for Public Assistance Recipients Program, also referred to as the Welfare ¶«¾©ÈÈ Program (WEP), provides funding for adult education programs for individuals receiving public assistance. Eligible agencies include school districts and boards of cooperative educational services (BOCES).
